What Is Padlet?

Padlet is like many boards, bulletin boards, or post-it notes online.




Features of Padlet

  • Variety of ways to post
-Upload files, words, videos, audios, photos, and so on.★ It provides multi-modality for students to express in different ways. This could arise students creativity and stimulate their response.

  •  Change the wallpaper to fit your padlet. Make your padlet fascinating. Students would be more easily involved.

  • Reactions



- Grade, star, upvote, or like posts.


  • I love this function because this is why padlet become more interactive and energetic!
  • However, teachers should also consider the time you use 'Reactions'. If it might become something too judgemental or sometimes just not suitable for students to especially grade and star others work, you might have wanted to avoid that.

  • Formats
    - Wall, Canvas, Stream, Grid, Shelf, Backchannel

Things to Think about in Teaching

★ It is motivated for students to see each others' padlets on the board. They care about how they look from their peers.
★ Templates, one of my favorite temple. It's 'template padlets for school'.


▲ But, teachers also need to be careful to give positive feedback to their creativity. ▲ Moreover, teacher also need to consider the effect of inter-influence of being able to see each other's comments or things.



In all, I just take an overview of Padlet and try to think of some creative ways of using it. I will definitely use it with my students in the future.

When it comes to learning English, I guess many learners would love to better their pronunciation! Although we can check up the dictionary to see the phonetics of a word, sometimes we just don't know how to pronounce by ourself or we are not sure about it. VoiceTube is a tool to Learn English by watching subtitled videos, movies trailers, and music videos form YouTube! VoiceTube Tutorial I just made a tutorial video by screencast-o-matic.
