A Toolkit for Teachers——Triptico

Triptico is an useful tool that helps teacher create teaching materials quick and easy.
It also has materials and resources that created by other members shared on it.

Firstly, I would like to show you the layout of Triptico. It's very easy to use and find.

When you enter in the website, you will see this.

Click START CREATING, and you can have 7 Days Free Trial.

Secondly, I just list out FREE resources.
  1. Score Tapper
  2. Text Spinner
  3. Hour glass
  4. Slow Writing
  5. Word Magnets
  6. Think Link
  7. Match Maker
The first three, it's like a supplement tool during the class.

Sometimes to make it have some fun.
For example, text spinner is to make random selection. It could be used to select phrases for students to explain, make sentences or just to pronounce. Also to select students at the beginning or the end of the class to do warm-up recall or wrap-up recall.(recall what have learned)

Hourglass could be used when student have some writing time, reading time, or discussion time to offer visual aid of time controlling for both students and teachers.

In slow writing, you can have at most 8 panels. In each panel, teacher can put instructions in it. It could be used as in guided writing, for students to create sentences with hints, supports and less anxiety.

Ordering, sorting, grouping, labelling, matching, ranking - there are so many ways that Word Magnets can be used in the classroom! You can also add images, choose from a range of background templates and flip magnets over.
When it comes to reading comprehension, for example, I can use it to make clarification of the relationships among characters in a story, a chapter book or even a novel. There are so many possibilities waited to be tried out!

Think Link can be used in when the class is brainstorming together or as an example.

Some people may say brainstorming is something happens in brain, no need to show for everybody but I would say that students in primary level need visual aids. This helps them be more focused on the topic and see others ideas making them having stronger connection.

A simple tool to create match game. You can either match images with word or words with words.

However, although it kind of provide many tools, only these eight are free. It also needs teacher to devote some time on creating it if one not having clear ideas. But for those who have already used similar activities in class, this will add some fun to your class. Triptico involves students in a fun way. Still, there are some things to be concerned, such as technical problems, I believe not every classroom have interactive whiteboard but if you do have projector, it can still work. Moreover, don't spend whole session using technology. Even though it is interesting, when you use too much, it starts to bored students.

Thanks for reading.
If you have any other ideas or experiences of using Triptico, please feel free to comment.
